We help Welsh Assembly to help Welsh businesses

Chapter Training and Development has been working with the Welsh Assembly to help identify the way forward for new and developing Welsh enterprises.

We have, in association with the Welsh Assembly, been working to establish a clear picture of the way in which business in Wales can be encouraged and supported in the future.

Taking the first steps in a new business venture or developing and growing an existing enterprise can be, and quite often is, difficult and challenging.

Although there is a plethora of support agencies, groups, organisations and people willing and able to help, it can be immensely difficult to find the information or advice that you require.

Even when the information is located, it is often generic and therefore may not fully address your needs.

Over the last two years a huge amount of work has been undertaken as part of the Cyfenter 2 Development Partnership Project which is funded jointly by the Welsh Assembly Government and the Equal programme of the European Structural Funds.

The overall aim of the Partnership is to influence and develop mainstream business support policies and practices for under represented groups of entrepreneurs which will enable them to grow and sustain new enterprises.

In consultation with new business owners, the Cyfenter 2 Development Partnership has sought to identify the current issues affecting new business enterprises and to seek solutions to the problems and difficulties which may affect growth and sustainability.

Hopefully, through the work that we have done, together with the hard work of other businesses like ours, and the willingness of the Welsh Assembly to support business in Wales, the future is very bright.
